Cut & Paste for older kids?

Recommended Posts

The Kumon books. We have Easy Crafts and Amazing Crafts. It says 4,5,6 on one and 5,6,7 on the other, but frankly my pretty adept 6 year old still needs a lot of help with them so I think they would be perfect for slightly older kids.

I'm not the o.p., but thanks for posting these! I think my girls will really, really like them! My 8 year old has been asking for a cut & paste book like this, but I only knew about ones for really young children. Thanks again! :001_smile:

One that is fun for learning is The Body Book by Scholastic. The kids put together a three foot replica of the human body with all the different systems. It's labeled Grades 3-6. I would recommend getting the downloadable version off the website so you don't have to hand copy from the book, you can just print as many copies as you need.

The cool think about the crafts is that you can often play with them too.

Exactly!

And it's not a "toy" that has to be kept for a long time, either! (I'm into as little clutter as possible, although I always seem to be fighting a losing battle!)
