Kelly in IL
Hi I've been looking at Omnibus and love the books they use. But I have been looking for info about how it works, specifically, if there is a lot of teacher support, but I haven't specifically been able to find that information. So can anyone please share if I could expect a lot of support if I purchase the teacher's guide for Omnibus I? Thanks! Kelly
Chris in VA
I used it my first year with ds. There are exercises (questions for discussion, and writing, mainly) for every day of the week, along with a reading schedule. There are answers in the TM (on the CD--the TM is basically a copy of the whole book with answers in a different color), even for essay questions. It provided me with a lot of help. I didn't even have to read the actual books very carefully, and still could have a good discussion with ds.

LNC
So, the answers are on the cd but not in the book that the cd comes with right? I want my child to read from the book while I have the cd on my laptop while we discuss. Will that work - to just buy one teacher's edition, not the student edition, for my child? yvonne
Yes, the answers are only on the CD. So you can get the text with the Teacher's CD, hand the text to your child to read and you can read the text and see the answers on the CD.
