Mom-ninja.
Strawberries in the fridge (picked a week ago) taste like ferment. No mold or other signs of rotting. Not soggy. They look normal but have a taste with a kick. Throw out or just coat with sugar? :D
TheCoffeeChick
Eh, I'd eat them, but I have a stomach of steel. :D Throw some sugar on them. Or make strawberry daiquiris. ;)
ThisIsTheDay
My thought would be that they taste too nasty to eat, so I wouldn't have to otherwise consider if they are still fresh. :P
thescrappyhomeschooler
I probably would not eat them.
Cinder
Would not eat. I don't like the flavor when they start to turn bad.
LaxMom
I love this game! :D If you're not put off by the taste, I'd say eat them.

ravinlunachick
I might or might not eat them, depending on how willing I was to risk hurling if they were bad, LOL. I'd feel pretty safe mixing them with large amounts of alcohol. To kill the germs, of course. :tongue_smilie: In the future, you can try this little trick I picked up from a Facebook friend. When you bring the berries home and wash them, make a rinse of 1 part vinegar to 4 parts water, and pour over all the berries. Let them dry normally and put in the fridge. They will stay good for MUCH longer that way!
NanceXToo
Er, no. I like my strawberries to taste good naturally. I'm weird that way. :D
