amyco
Did you use the solution manual? Did you find it necessary? Thanks!

Melissa B
No and no, but I just ordered one for Algebra I. :D
Deniseibase
Yes, and not really - I mostly used it for those 'stubborn days' - "You have that one wrong." "No, I don't." "Yes, you do, it's supposed to be -" "MOM! No! Listen! It's RIGHT!" (Mom opens solutions manual) "Oh." "Now apologize and rework the problem." :D If you feel like you already have a good grasp of middle school math, you might not need it, especially if your kid isn't practicing her lawyering like mine does :D
Trilliums
Yes. DS used it to correct his work independently. He did the same thing with Algebra.
G5052
I'm a math person though. I ended up buying one for Algebra I though because there were a enough that we argued about in Algebra 1/2 that I decided to settle the argument for Algebra I. I hate buying something that is used only here and there, but I'll probably get one for the next kid...

Wait, have you been listening to our math conversations?? I'm definitely thinking the manual might be useful now.
amyco
Thanks everyone! It's almost unanimous that it is helpful! And as I like to have an outside backup to show my suddenly, nearly constantly argumentative ds, the peace of mind is going to be worth the money.
