MariannNOVA
Steamed asparagus (which my kids LOVE) - - and if there are carrots in the lentils, then I bake some butternut squash separately. And we usually put out lentil chips and hummus.:001_smile:

alisoncooks
I've never heard of honey-baked lentils and rice! Is this a common food? Sounds delicious. Can anyone recommend a good recipe?

Perogi
We just had it for supper tonight too. I threw a bunch of carrots and sweet potatoes right in the dish with the lentils and added some dried cranberries and cashews to the rice. With that I called it a meal. It would have been nice with a salad too - maybe next time.
