didadeewiththree
I'm looking for at least a 54 ounce bottle of coconut oil and perhaps some 4,000 mg soft capsule coconut oil supplements. I've looked at Vitacost and they are out of the capsules, and I seem to be wasting time googling here. Are there any sources that you buy from that have good prices and great products too? shalom22
I don't know about the capsules, but I buy the organic expeller pressed coconut oil from http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/. Today they are having a buy 1 get 1 on the 32 oz jars. Last sale I bought 16 jars. :D

Last time I bought stuff was a jar of Virgin Coconut oil and coconut oil for hair serum. Both were half off and free shipping. Holly
Denisemomof4
This is a better buy http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003QDRJXY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER

didadeewiththree
Do you guys think this is a good deal... http://www.vitacost.com/Vitacost-Extra-Virgin-Certified-Organic-Coconut-Oil-54-fl-oz It's 54 oz and $20.00, plus free shipping if I buy $50 or more. Does it matter what brand you buy?
Blueridge
It depends on whether you want a coconut flavor or not. The extra-virgin oils have a coconut taste, while the expeller pressed ones do not. I like to have both on hand if possible.
usetoschool
This is a better buy http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003QDRJXY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER :iagree: That is what I was just coming to suggest. We have ours on subscribe and save regular shipment. Might not be as great a deal if you don't have Amazon Prime.

Does it matter what brand you buy? I paid $39 for two 54 oz jars of Nutiva at Amazon so pretty comparable. I have Amazon Prime so don't know about the shipping - if you order over a certain amount at Amazon then shipping is free but I don't recall what that amount is. Just info for comparison, btw, not trying to talk you into Amazon or anything

When did you get the $39 pricing? I guess they change the price all the time. Hmmm....

Would I benefit further by becoming Prime customer?

Just put in the URL of the item you want and it will show you the chart of the price over the past few months or even years. You can also add an extension to your browser so you can see the chart immediately while browsing Amazon. They also have an option of signing up (its free) and have camelcamelcamel email you when the price drops to your desired range.
KS_
I have bought oil (and flour) from Tropical Traditions and was very pleased. They run a lot of specials too. That's where I usually buy my oil from, too, and if you sign up for emails, you'll be notified of sales and free shipping. The free shipping offers are a great time to buy.
