Hoggirl
I saw this on pinterest awhile back and finally made them yesterday. Oh. my. word. These would make a great Valentine treat!! Enjoy!! Homemade Butterfingers 1 lb candy corn 16 oz peanut butter (I used Peter Pan honey roasted peanut butter) chocolate-flavored almond bark (That's it! Seriously! The texture isn't quite like a butterfinger, but the taste is! Line an 8 x 8 pan with parchment paper. Melt candy corn in the microwave on high for one minute. Stir. Continue heating in 15 - 20 second intervals and stirring until completely melted. Stir in peanut butter. N.B. It starts setting up quickly, so I threw it back into the microwave for about 20 more seconds after I had stirred the two ingredients together a bit). Spread into pan. Cool and place in fridge for a couple of hours. Turn out and cut into squares. It's pretty rich, so don't make them too big. Mine were also kind of crumbly when I was cutting (a bit frustrating), so next time I am hoping making them smaller will help with this. Dip in melted almond bark and set on wax paper to set up. Tammyla
Oh, my...I was afraid to open this thread. I've given up sweets, but I could rethink my position for a Butterfinger.
hsmom2011
Oh my, this is pretty tempting. I just started Weight Watchers, and already having trouble staying on track. I need to colese this before I copy it down - lol. :001_huh:

celticmom
This sounds wonderful! I cannot eat chocolate anymore and I used to love butterfingers. I will probably use carob.
