J-rap
Is there a book that teaches home/car maintenance skills in simple terms? Not just the how, but the why, and preferably with diagrams! I'm talking about changing the filter in the furnace, checking the oil in the car, things like that. I need something for myself and my children -- even my older ones (I am learning that we did not do a very good job teaching them some fairly basic skills!). elegantlion
I'm looking at using this for ds down the road. http://www.autoupkeep.com/kit/ Ds will most likely spend his disposable income on electronics and drawing supplies as an adult, he will need to know auto maintenance. :tongue_smilie:

J-rap
Thanks -- these look good. Margaret, do you know where I could get the Boy Scouts pamphlets if I don't have children in Boy Scouts?
LNC
We plan on using CLE (Christian Light Eduction) high school elective courses for these: http://www.clp.org/store/by_course/114 http://www.clp.org/store/by_course/115 http://www.clp.org/store/by_course/
