Parrothead
She was banned I wonder if that was done for her own protection. :D
*Lulu*
Well, either we are uneducated dolts who shouldn't be trying to teach anything more complicated than shoe tying or we are some super-genius internet hackers who will track her and her buddy down and ruin thier lives. I fail to see how we could be both. Unless the real fear was that we would somehow stumble on the secret of fire, invoke our fundamentalist Internet voodoo, and come for her with torches and pitchforks. fourcatmom
I give that as much credibility as the PS teacher I know who stopped me at Walmart to tell me all about the evils of HSing "not that you are negligent, just MOST of the home schoolers". :tongue_smilie: We home schoolers are also lazy and don't want to take the time to get the kids to school in case you were wondering. I was told the same thing yesterday,, that we just don't want to get up and take our kids to school each day:glare: And that the most behind kids in the class are always the ones that have been homeschooled. Farrar
Wow. I skipped this thread after initially dismissing the "article" out of hand, but I'm glad I came back and read. It makes me feel like we're all a really scary group of angry grizzly mamas or something. We're like that teen mom with the shotgun who defended her baby a few weeks back. Don't mess with us! That's right! You'd better run! Now I feel powerful. :)
