klmama
I found a wonderful, high school level science text at a garage sale. It's about 10 years old, but it's by a major publisher - Holt, Rinehart & Winston. It's still available from HRW, although the company has a newer text available. If I saved it for high school it would be 13-14 years old. Do colleges care what textbooks are used or how recently they were published? Ellie
Not all colleges ask for course descriptions or bibliographies of materials used.
Riverfront Headmistress
It doesn't matter how old the text is, but I would be concerned if the content was the most accurate.
Susan in TN
Well, if I were to apply to college today, they would accept my high school transcript, even though I graduated 20 years ago....so, I'd say go with it. You can always do some checking/updating through your library or the internet.
