amy g.
Ds will sleep until I tell him to wake up, but Miss Happy is still sleeping too. Dh is in bed with her, and won't get up so long as he has a warm baby next to him. The rest of us have had coffee and biscuits and opened our stockings. My sister is starting to talk about rousing them from the bed so we can open presents.
MorganClassicalPrep
Nope.. my normally up late little girl was up bright and early at 9 am! We had a rough night, so I expected her to sleep later. She fell asleep around 1130, but then woke around 1 and couldn't get back to sleep til 5. Which means Santa couldn't get to sleep until much, much later! :tongue_smilie:We're ready for a nap here!
AK_Mom4
We went to the 11pm church service last night, so it was nearly 1am before we got home. Even the monster puppies slept in until 8am (they usually need out at 6!) My kids are all older, but DD17 got them all out of bed at 9am for presents. ErinE
Kids were in our room early this morning. After a few nights of insomnia, this was the one night I was able to sleep. I had to kick dh and the children out of the room because they kept talking. I didn't wake up until 10 am, and it was wonderful.
linders
 They gave us until 5:50 am, then were required to wait another 5 minutes while I made coffee and DH set up his camera.
black_midori
We squeezed out until 6am-ish... at least, that was when dh came in and woke me up & asked if they were allowed to open their stockings!!
usetoschool
Well, everyone is up but between church and long distance phone calls the presents are still (12:46pm local time) calling to us from under the tree. It is weird having grown up kids and no little grandkids. It really isn't about the presents at this time in our lives. Not sure how I feel about that. ;)
mcconnellboys
I was shocked this year. For the first time ever, no one got up in the middle of the night and ravaged their stocking. Even my husband didn't cheat before going to bed. I was actually the first one up at 7:30 and I got into mine. My older son didn't get up until sometime between 12 and 1 when I roused him....
