All I want to make are a few dish cloths for Christmas. I know... last minute right? LOL Anyone have any good websites or videos to recommend? I am very visual. Thanks! Just search "how to crochet" and try a few videos until you find one that works for you. Different videos use different camera angles or explanations from the demonstrator, so it's helpful to look through a few before getting too frustrated. As for sites, check out ravelry.com. You have to click on the links at the lower half of the page then scroll back up to watch the video. Oh, you might have to register at the site to access the videos. As others have mentioned, Youtube should have something that shows a basic stitch. Keep it simple. It's definitely doable. I taught myself years ago, and my daughter taught herself recently.
