Heather in Neverland Posted November 2, 2011 Share Posted November 2, 2011 So I was walking by our butterfly farm on campus that we started last year and I wanted to check on some of the caterpillars I saw yesterday. And right at that moment, it was forming into a chrysalis...right before my eyes! One of my teachers was walking by and happened to have a camera with her that had video ability so we taped it. It was SO AMAZING!! I have never seen that before. It wiggled and jiggled and there was green gooey stuff and then VOILA... it was a chrysalis. My students have been taking care of the butterfly farm and we have been breeding endangered butterflies for about a year now but this is the first time I have seen it form a chrysalis with my own eyes.
