macmacmoo
I was great at math in grade school. And then someone had this bright idea to put me on the math fast track and ever since my math has suffered greatly. All through college in between the red hash marks of nearly failed math exams would be little notes about making bad algebra mistakes. And so I want to reteach myself math starting with algebra, what would you recommend curriculum wise?
Mom22ns
I was like that too. I ended up just getting through what math I had to have in college. I have been self-educating with the LOF series. Since it is really review with the idea of increasing understanding, this enjoyable series has been a great fit and adds enjoyment to the task. Soror
I just bought Basic College Mathematics by Lial. It came in the mail today so I haven't looked at it much but it looks like at the beginning it is basic things I remember. I am anxious to see how much I actually do remember to be honest! It was only $4 on amazon so it seemed like a good place to start.
