shanvan
Someone sent me an e mail saying "I need ___" and then listed a phone number and nothing else. I have never had this type of response before. How would you respond? Shannon
stripe
I've never gotten any such reply. Sounds...weird. Is it from a regular poster? Maybe you could write back and say something and see if they/she/he/it reponds?

Maybe you could write back and say something and see if they/she/he/it reponds? I just wrote back saying I handle all curriculum sales through e mail. I think this particular e mail is in response to an ad on homeschool classifieds. It's not anyone from this board. We'll see what happens...... shanvan
It's something weird. I got another email that said "We would like Bible" and listed a different phone number. I'm just deleting any further e mails from same source.
DarlaS
Maybe they are on a library or friend's computer and don't own one? You'd think they'd say so though...

There are trojans that will go through for sale posts and send those. one thing, there are phone/call scams where they get you to push a button and the phone call can end up costing LOTS of money that goes to the scammer.
