genny
I bought a bunch instead of markers... I was wondering what's the easiest way to clean the board? I've tried paper towels and it's a lot of arm work!:tongue_smilie:
PeacefulChaos
I just wet the paper towels a bit. :)

genny
nope ... wax plus water ain't helping:tongue_smilie::lol: I'm sooo frustrated by this ... markers will definitely spell disaster here but I don't want to have a serious arm work out everyday ... argh ... Should I risk using markers and finding my kids all marked up?
Rbsmrter
Did the crayons come with a glove? Ours came with a black glove that seems to do the trick. My kids get a kick out of wearing it so they erase it themselves and save me an arm workout :001_smile:
genny
no glove they just came in the box alone... you wouldn't happen to know the glove material would ya?:tongue_smilie:
LadyJ
I just spray with green works all purpose cleaner and wipe with a small wash cloth.
Rbsmrter
I just went to check it, hoping the fabric was listed on the label but it wasnt. It feels like a pair of thick sweatpants, but it definitely isn't 100% cotton. There's a bit of a sheen to it, so I'm guessing there is something synthetic in there! It came out of the Crayola whiteboard crayon box, so you might be able to go in the store and open the package to check it out (since I'm sure my explaination isnt very helpful!). The packages are super easy to open and close so you could easily get it out to take a look.
Quiver0f10
I think we used windex. I am back to markers this year because I found it easier. That doens't help much does it? :) Edited August 26, 2011 by Quiver0f10
JumpedIntoTheDeepEndFirst
All I know is that the longer it sits on the board the harder it is to erase. I guess some lessons are learned the hard way.:glare:
dcjlkplus3
Have you tried magic erasers or white board spray? I have found that washcloths work the best (for markers, I haven't tried the crayons). Also, my aunt and cousins were just telling us that dry erase marker comes off of skin very easily :001_smile:
genny
I'll have to check out the crayola whiteboard crayons the next time I'm out shopping... hmmm maybe I'll just put the whiteboard markers way up high and give them a shot until I find a crayon solution... PeacefulChaos
Hmm... idk. Maybe it is the type of dry erase crayons you are using? Or the combination of that type with the type of whiteboard you have? We just bought the Crayola dry erase board/crayons and it works really well. I'm not a big fan of the glove thing, though, I'd rather use the paper towels :)
