Logic w/ a little more...variety?

I am interested in finding a Logic curriculum that has a little more variety than Logic Safari (and similar books). DS is breezing through Logic Safari 1 and I thought about getting book 2 and 3, but honestly, I am hoping for one with a little more variety in the puzzles.

ETA: I like the variety with Tinman Press, but it's really more drawing, to me, than Logic...we have the "Doodle Book" and "Boys Doodle Book" already that serve pretty much the same purpose...so I am sorta looking for something similar to the Logic Safari puzzles with additional puzzles like some of the ones in Building Thinking Skills...

Thanks Lori. I like a lot of those suggestions. I made notes for the years to come.

That was a fantastic list.

You should look at http://listiki.com/ .... Example of a posted list ... http://listiki.com/2010-products-i-cant-live-without

With all of the lists that I have seen you post in the past - some need multiple posts - I thought I would show this to you. :) HTH

Again, TY!

What a great list, Lori!

I might move Logic Safari to the K-3 - my kids found it perfectly fine in first grade (and, as much as I love them, I think I can objectively say they're not particularly advanced at stuff like that - the book is just easier than the grade level claim). But what a nice, neat compilation of resources!

Love your list Lori!

We've also worked on the Logic Safari 1 & 2 earlier than the books say. But we do love those deductive grid puzzles. Lollipop Logic has 3 books now, we just started the second, the third isn't out on Amazon yet.

For games, people might like more of the ThinkFun games like Rush Hour (not just the Jr. version), Chocolate Fix and so on. World of Goo is another software game. I'll have to think of more, I have it on my list to make a similar list of what we've been using so far.

Thanks! I was not aware of those websites -- they look addictive. ;)

I am actually in the midst of considering setting up a website in a year (after graduating our last) to provide the ability for people to download articles and curriculum I've been working on over the years -- plus homeschool links and helps, etc. :)

Warmest regards, Lori

That would be fantatistic Lori D. I so enjoy reading your posts and find them so helpful. In fact, if I see your name over on the side, showing you've posted, I invariably open that thread to read what you've written.

:iagree::iagree:

I would *love* a site that has all your lists and information to browse. I hope you do more than consider it!
