cloversandlions
Does anyone have a source for the D'Nealian font? I gather that it is not available for free, but perhaps someone knows where it might be purchased for a reasonable price?
Spryte
:bigear: My best guess is StartWrite, but I haven't ordered it yet. We're switching to D'Nealian this year, so I've been looking into options as well.
Firefly
ABCteach.com has free worksheets. I also have a d'nealian font I downloaded for free years ago-- it shows up alongside my regular fonts in Word, which allows me to type anything I want in the tracer style (or regular) for the kids to copy. I can't remember where I downloaded it, but let me check around and see if can find out... ETA: well, this is it, but it's not free anymore! You could also try doing a search for the individual fonts: AbcDNManusArrow AbcDNManusArrowDotted AbcDNManuscript AbcDNManusDotted AbcDNManusDottedLined AbcDNManusLined Good luck! jenn&charles
I got all my handwriting fonts (including D'nealian) from Educational Fontware. It's a bit expensive (49.95 for a CD with all of the different fonts), but well worth it if you want to make a lot of your own handwriting/worksheets. I also like it better than StartWrite because you can use the fonts in ANY program (Microsoft Word, Photoshop, etc.). http://educationalfontware.com/
cloversandlions
I found some "free to download" fonts at fonts101.com (here). I did a search on whether the site was safe, and according the MacAfee SiteAdvisor, it's a safe site. You can see that info here.
