Dianne-TX
DD wants a vanity table. She doesn't have any space in her room for another piece of furniture, so I'm wanting to find a dresser/vanity table that is split in the middle. I'm not finding exactly what I'm looking for. I find vanity tables with small drawers and I find dressers with mirrors and drawers, but not split. Does this exist?
Pink Fairy
Try looking in antique stores. I've seen a ton of those vanity dressing tables, usually with two rather large drawers on each side.

Dianne-TX
Would I specify "art deco" when searching or asking an antique store?
nevergiveup
Craigslist usually has vanities or dressing tables listed under antiques or furniture. Or, you can fashion your own out of a couple of matching night stands with a board across for the top, and hang a mirror above at seat height. Dianne-TX
After searching and seeing the prices, I think we'll have to go the small vanity route and keep her present dresser. We'll make it work. Thanks for the help and furniture education. :)
Lisa in Jax
Are you or DH handy? Make what you want! This site has a bunch of plans for various types of furniture. Maybe you can a design that will work for your space and budget. This site has inspired me to finally make the "dresser" for laundry hampers that I've been wanting to make. :) ana-white.com
