Mrs Mungo Posted June 28, 2011 Share Posted June 28, 2011 (edited) You cannot thaw out a whole chicken and cook it in an hour (and have it turn out well). It is just not possible. If you want to put it in the fridge overnight, then we can tell you what to do with it tomorrow. ;) eta: It takes 5 hours/lb to thaw in the fridge. The cold water method takes 1 hour/lb to thaw.
