suppleasthewind
Its been over two months now and I love homeschooling. High points include: boys rushing over to caterpillar jar and being excited that they finally made their cocoons; selecting interesting books and magazines and watching boys dive into them; putting a box of math manipulatives on table and watching boys dive into them and explore; having 7 year old suggest trying a craft that he came across in a book. Guest jab300
:iagree: It's great, isn't it? You will find so many more amazing benefits to homeschooling as the years go by.
unsinkable
That's wonderful! I love reading posts like this. (I'd give a million dollars to go back in time and do this all again...)

TheApprentice
I agree, it is very exciting that learning can be so much fun! My ds8 had to remind me 3 times to send the coupon for our ladybug larvae. Enjoy.:hurray:
kalanamak
Biology is especially wonderful with kids. They have a natural connection with living things! I love it so much, we are doing our chem/physics in 12 months just do we can get back to bio next year. I'm going to do all the first grade things all over again, but with my now-a-little-bigger-boy. :001_smile:
