MeganW
This might be the coolest thing I have ever seen! http://www.vatican.va/various/cappelle/sistina_vr/index.html
Chris in VA
It's so incredibly beautiful, isn't it? Dh and I went to Rome about 12 years ago, and I remember thinking the Sistine Chapel was one of the loveliest manmade spots on earth!!! It was different than I expected--really, it felt a little claustrophobic, b/c it's so ornate but so small, with no windows. Just overwhelming, really. The colors are spectacular. It's fun to look at a guide so you know who all the folks are.
Kerrie in VA
Thank you for the link, Megan. Chris, I can't imagine seeing this in real life. An example when pictures just can't do it justice. My oldest son is own his second cycle through the Renaissance and I would love for us to visit Italy--the art and architecture!

Heather in VA
We got to see it in real life too - about 1 1/2 years ago. It was amazing. My youngest was only barely 6 at the time and even she thought it was fantastic. I was so worried because they get annoyed if you are too loud in there but she was awestruck and actually QUIET.
