He really enjoyed the first movie and all the books of course. We asked him if he wanted to go today, but he wanted to "avoid" the crowds. He wants to go on Monday with dad. Any reviews? I never heard of this movie or books before, but just wanted to add that dd5 told me this morning that she wanted to see "diarrhea of a Wimpy Kid". I had no idea what she was talking about until older dd explained what she was talking about. I had to explain that it was called "DIARY" of a wimpy kid and she looked at me like I was trying to pull one over on her. Margo out of lurking Posted March 25, 2011 Share Posted March 25, 2011 My kids are going to see it on Monday. For the most part, I'm not a big movie watcher. I agreed to watch the first one with ds (at home) when no one else in the family would. I ended up loving the movie! I read a newspaper review today that said it wasn't as good as the first. Imo, that means it could still be a great movie. I'm bummed I'm not able to join them on Monday, but the point was for them to go when we did not have school, and they're going since I won't be home.
