krisandpaula
Has anyone used TeacherFileBox.com? Did you feel it was worth the money for access? I have a couple of Evan-Moor books and I really like what I've seen so far. It looks like it could be great for supplementing our subjects throughout the year, but I would love to hear from some of you that have used it before. Thanks for the insight! hsmom
I use it daily! I love it and believe it is worth every penny!
Dmmetler
I just subscribed to it, and it looks like a good fit. I'm pretty sure I've paid more than that in Evan-Moor workbooks from our local teacher's store this year. My DD really likes things like Daily Editing and History Pockets. K&Rs Mom
I've been debating this for a couple of years. I do like some of Evan-Moor's stuff, and have used several of their reproducible books, but a lot of it is just busywork (even if it's meant to be fun), which is one thing we avoid by homeschooling. blakereese
I've been looking around their site, trying to see what exactly I would be buying access to. Are you able to print things from any of the Evan Moor workbooks, like History Pockets, Daily Geography, etc? Or are these entirely different sheets that are made just for the Teacher File Box? It seems like a lot of holiday stuff, which is fine, but not what I would be looking for. I would like more supplements for our subjects, like LA, history, math, etc. Thanks! hsmom
Basically what it is, is access to all their material. Now it is not listed "history pockets", you can search history pockets and every one pops up for you to use. Also there is other material in there that is not in their books, added worksheets. You have catagories to choose from when searching. You can go by grade, or go by curriculum (then break down to subject and topic), OR go by theme then break down subject and topic, OR holiday which also is broke down by subject and topic. You have access to tons and tons of the material. Some really great craft, art, reading, math, history, science, writing, geography, all of it. Now yes some is busy work, but for me I am able to pull so much from there to make up a huge chunck of what we do.
Irishmommy
Been a member for 3 years. I love it. It helps fill in my curriculum gaps. Need another skill sheet for verbs, done. Need a history pockets for the kiddos, done. Simple coloring sheets for little one, done. I think I'll always be a member of it, I like it that much. parias1126
Is this better then abcteach? I bought a membership at a discount and I think I have used it once.
Irishmommy
I've never been a memeber of abc teach, but overall I like the materials that Evan-Moor produces, so that is why I went with them. It was a company I had used MANY times before, so it was a natural choice for me.
hsmom
WAY way better than abc teach. I don't care much for abc teach.
