Remudamom
Two of my "hens" started crowing this morning. I'm going to have to re-think how I'm going to grow my flock this summer.:glare:

Parrothead
Hmmm... crowing hens. How does that riddle go? If your rooster lays an egg on the roof which side will it roll down? If a hen crows in the morning....
Alenee
We had a hen hatch out some eggs in January. Still waiting to see if we got a rooster or three...
Slartibartfast
Are you allowed to keep roosters? Roosters drive me nuts. For some reason I can sleep through dh's alarm but a rooster ALWAY wakes me up. That's weird.
Remudamom
Oh yeah, I can keep all the roos I want, I just need some hens. I was going to try to let my little silkies set some eggs, now I've got one silky hen and three roos. I wanted three hens and one roo.
