Jean in Newcastle Posted February 25, 2011 Share Posted February 25, 2011 Thank you, Crissy. I'm still in need of prayer. I'm right on the edge between getting better and getting really sick. (Which sounds weird but is true). My cold is almost all better. But I have a constant burning feeling in my chest. I don't cough much, but when I do, then it is a burning cough. So there is definitely inflammation in my chest. I'm doing lots of anti-inflammatories (mostly natural ones), immune building stuff etc. I actually have the steroids that I was given when I was so sick, but at the end, I was getting thrush from them and am still having trouble with a light case of thrush. I do not want to do the steroids again and have that come back with a vengeance. The Dr. had also put me on very high doses of prescription anti-inflammatories last time (which I still have) but I had started to get bad stomach pain from them so if I can avoid going that route I'd like to. . .
