MaryCatherine
Can a french press be used to make hot tea? I realize that it shouldn't be the same one that's used for coffee, but could I make hot tea with loose tea leaves the same way as making coffee? It seems like I could. Also, can I use a french press to make cold brew coffee? Again, it seems like I'd be able to, just wondered if someone does this and could verify. Thanks. Liz CA
Ds likes to make tea in one. It works fine. Depends on how big the tea leaves are and how small the mesh is in the press. Other than that I cannot think of any reason why it should not work.

SailorMom
I actually have used the same one - as long as it is glass, the taste shouldn't transfer....
