shinyhappypeople
7 yo DD is extra tired this morning (got up very, very early) but refused to take a rest. Fine. We continue with our schoolwork. She whines and fusses and is generally a grump. Finally I flat-out asked her: "Are you *trying* to annoy me?" She paused, looked at me for a moment and muttered, "No, I'm just trying to get out of doing the work." I sent her to bed for some much needed rest. But, inside I'm

shinyhappypeople
Yeah, I just checked and she looks like she's zonked out. :) Reason # 4,928 I love homeschooling: She can rest when she needs it instead of having to push through and ending up in the office. Jean in Newcastle
My dd has told me what I've always known to be true. "I like pushing your buttons, Mom!" I'm glad that your dd is getting her much needed rest.:)
