Aubrey Posted January 28, 2011 Share Posted January 28, 2011 Obviously the word should be pronounced BlO-kus (not Block-us). Latin rules & all. But my dc (& dh!) keep saying "Blockus." It came to a head tonight, & I looked up the official pronunciation. The website says "Blockus." It offends me so deeply, I want to throw the game out. You'd think they could bother to spell their game correctly. ;) ETA: maybe you could get a Sharpie and fix the spelling on the box, so it's less offensive...
