kristavws
My 19-month old grand-daughter has to have surgery tomorrow. She is having difficulty breathing, so they want to do the surgery as soon as possible. It is scheduled for 1:15. She is not allowed to have anything to eat after midnight tonight, and this is a toddler that really likes to eat. If you could please pray that the surgery would go well, and that she would not be hungry during the day tomorrow, prior to the surgery. Thank you, Krista

kristavws
:grouphug: I'm surprised that they did not schedule the surgery first thing in the morning. Praying for her. I was surprised too. Apparently, that was the first available, and they wanted to get her in as soon as possible. Krista

Dawn in OH
:grouphug: I'm surprised that they did not schedule the surgery first thing in the morning. Praying for her. Poor thing. I hope everything is okay. That's really crappy about the surgery time though. For a young child, who is going to be hungry and whining, making her wait till that late in the day without food is just WRONG. It's going to be torture for her and her mother. That's over 13 hours without food!
