Susan in TN
Do you have any suggestions for diagramming practice - from very basic to (somewhat) advanced? We're using R&S English, but dd really needs some extra help with diagramming. Thanks!
SilverMoon
Mary Daly's First Whole Book of Diagrams may be helpful. If you just want more practice, these free for the printing workbooks have diagramming sections in them.
3byzaz
I saw CLE (Christian Light) sells a new whole workbook for this, I believe. http://www.clp.org/product/extra_practice_sheets_diagramming_2611 Not sure how extensive it is?
Ohdanigirl
You could also makeup some sentences and have your dd diagram those. I have done this using examples in the book. This way you can focus on the types of sentences that tend to cause problems. My had trouble n the very beginning with asking sentences. I also have a diagramming work book, but I need to find it. This looks great to start. I think Mary Daly's book is the one I had in the back of my head. I may order that, too. Thanks!

Crimson Wife
I really like the Mark Twain Media Sentence Diagramming workbook. Inexpensive, clear explanations, and it covers everything from the basics to the more advanced concepts like gerunds, infinitives, participles, complex sentences, etc.
