Miss Peregrine
To have Christmas with DH's family, some of whom flew in from Texas and are leaving tomorrow. DD7 is asleep now after throwing up all morning. *sigh*
Catwoman
I'll put this as gently as I can, but are you sure they would want you there with a sick child? I know I wouldn't, even if I hadn't seen you all year, and I would be really annoyed if I showed up for a family Christmas and someone was there with a vomiting child. (And if it's a long trip and you get sick, too, it will be a miserable trip back home for the whole family.) I hope your dd feels better soon! :grouphug: Cat
Robin M
Skype them and stay home. Your poor daughter will appreciate it more.

They also ruined a Christmas by showing up sick and taking down 60 people with them. horrible. It stinks, but its not worth it, especially with the severity of this years stomach flu bug. I have the other 4 kids, too and DH was supposed to meet me there after work.
Mrs Mungo
Stay home. You do *not* want them throwing up on the plane on the way home because you made them sick.
Miss Peregrine
We stayed home. Dh drove 2 hours extra to come pick up the rest of the kids and take them back to his parents. He is P.O'd. I am never one to care if my kids are around other sick kids so it wouldn't have mattered to me but BIL and SIL, they care. :)
Catwoman
I think you did the right thing. I probably would have kept the whole family home as a precaution, but I'm paranoid about that sort of thing. Cat
