Alexandra
I got the materials yesterday but did not stay for the meeting. It took forever to get registered! Anyway I am not sure where in all the literature that I got will I find the method for calculating points? Is it in there somewhere or do I need the little calculator? angela in ohio
You can't do it with the cardboard slider on your own anymore. You either need the calculator, the online tools, or the extra books they sell. The guide you got yesterday has a limited number of points values, though, for common foods. The calculator is probably the cheapest way to get the points. :001_smile:
kwickimom
Does the old calculator still work, or is there a new one? I have this one: http://www.amazon.com/Weight-Watchers-International-030001-Calculator/dp/B000YP68DO
NanceXToo
If you have a cell phone with internet access, you can use this for foods where you want to calculate from a label rather than using the foods already listed in your little booklet: http://www.wijvallenaf.nl/Weight-Watchers/ProPoints-Calculator.html
BigMamaBird
I would say Yes, get the calculator. It makes life so much more simple. And it's more than just a calculator, it stores a weeks worth of tracking and all your statistics so it figures out your weekly points ration for you. Very helpful little gadget! OnTheBrink
If you have an iPhone, you can download the app, which has the calculator.
