decent watches without metal

My son is allergic to metal as in snaps on clothing and such. He is almost 14 and would like to have a watch, but the last one he had broke him out badly because of the metal in it. Where can I find a decent watch without metal in it?

Look at dive watches. To be salt water resistant, they have very little, if any metal.

There are some that close with velcro, which might reduce the metal buckle. Have you tried coating the metal back with clear nail polish?

I have not worn a watch in 14 years for the same reason.

 

My cell phone is my watch.

My kids all use their cell phones instead of watches as well. I use a clip watch on my car key chain.

Well, none of my children have cell phones. They won't get one until they are driving by themselves. I see no reason for them to have one. So, any other ideas?

The velcro one looks possible and is in the right price range. Those dive watches were 200 bucks!!! Definitely more than I want for my 13yo.

I have the same problem. Some Swatch watches are all plastic.

This looks like it would be just the ticket if it weren't so pricey. Maybe you can search around and see if there is something similar that's less expensive.
