cuz I'm (finally) cleaning the oven. :lol:

 

Thanks for giving my kids a reason to ditch their school work every 5 minutes to duck to the floor and slide on their bellies to the door. They KNOW it's just because I'm cleaning the oven but who can resist the opportunity to practice our fire drill, every 5 minutes.

 

My dog is howling.

 

My cat is freaking out.

 

And the baby is clinging.

 

Only 2 hours and 44 minutes more of the self-clean cycle.

That's the problem with these boards; they put ideas into your head like cleaning the oven. :D

Thank you so very, very much. I was feeling a teeny-weeny bit guilty for not doing mine. I've had that oven for two years and just don't want to go there.

Is it your smoke alarms? Can you take them down until you're done? I have to take one of ours down every time we use the oven; good thing it's easy to reach.

They're hard wired into the house so I can't just take them down. :glare: Waving a book underneath does shut it off --briefly.
