They're something you organize or join as a group - so maybe not exactly what the OP had in mind, but to me this is some of the best "out of the box" learning I know of. Destination Imagination Odyssey of the Mind Ds11 would love these. Any ideas on how I can find a group (I'm in Northeast PA)?
