Luvmy3kids
Any good cookbooks out there?? I am looking for whole foods only and scratch cooking. Using only real ingredients and not too many beans/lentils/grains. Thank you!!!!
Guest
I bought The Rodale Whole Foods Cookbook a few months ago - I've been really happy with it. I think it's my favorite cookbook that I own. :)

angela in ohio
More with Less... Ignore the casserole stuff. The basic recipes for rice, bread, etc. are worth the price of the book. Another great book along these lines is the 12 Best Foods Cookbook. No odd powders you have to buy at the health food store, no exotic ingredients, just yummy real meals. A lot of people like Jamie Oliver's books, too, and he is pretty whole foods. I don't care for them, but you might.
OrganicAnn
Mark Bittman's cookbooks are good for cooking from scratch. He doesn't necessarily use few ingredients. One thing that is nice is that he will give a simple recipe and then give several ways to change it. We have his "How to Cook Everything Vegetarian"
