BMW
Our cat went out in the back yard and little Frodo (the little dog) just kept pouncing the cat... who just wants to go out and lay in the grass. So, I called Frodo in and he sat next to the door about 5 minutes, looking out back, wanting to be back out there... I went over and opened the door again and said, "All right, you can go back out and try again. Leave the cat alone!" Then I got back to my exercise dvd and it dawned on me... I just gave my dog a time out! How funny! It seems to have worked... cat is now napping happily in the sun and the dog has found something else to do... 2cents
I have to do that with my cats and dog at least 2-3 times a day. Every once in awhile one just starts nagging another and they need an 'intervention'. Pets are just like little kids. :)

stephanier.1765
BTDT :lol: My female dog tries to have conjugal visits with both the female cat and the male. The female hisses and scratches but the male is so laid back that you can almost see him rolling his eyes. I'll finally have to send the dog to her crate just to give them a break. Geesh, dumb dog...
