Kirch
Ds 6 is doing RightStart level B and definitely needs more practice with word problems. I could probably sit down and write some out myself, but I really don't want to reinvent the wheel if I don't have to, and we don't have the money to buy anything (like CWP) at the moment. Does anyone know of any resources online for (simple, for now) word problems?

FO4UR
MEP Check the Lesson Plans for the word problems specifically. The student books have lots of interesting math problems & puzzles that aren't typical in other currics. MEP YR 1 has lots of little picture problems having the children write + and - problems to describe the picture. These are a great step up into understanding word problems without the pictures.
