Blossom'sGirl
My K'r (5 1/2 years old) is very bright and we do math everyday. At this rate we will be through RightStart Lev. A by the end of Dec. For my other three boys, I have always used Singapore 1A/B to supplement, but I would like to try MEP. For those who have used it, would I start with the Reception year or go right to Yr.1? I would like to actually switch between the two so Mom doesn't get bored. This is my 3rd time through Lev.A and it is my least favorite.
Mommy22alyns
I used Year 1 at that time.
Farrar
Reception is really short. If you breeze through it, you could always just move on to Year 1... ah, the benefits of the free curriculum :)
MissKNG
I would skip the reception year and start with Year 1.
Blossom'sGirl
Thanks all. I was all ready to do the Reception before I really looked at it and, I do think it would be repetitive.
Lisa in the UP of MI
I did RightStart A with my oldest last year and am doing MEP Reception with 4yo ds this year. We are really enjoying the Reception level but in your case I would skip it.
