NanceXToo
A meatloaf that is somewhere between 1 and 1 1/2 lbs, that's in a small dark colored loaf pan. What temp should I cook it at, and for how long? And covered or uncovered? Thanks :) <---not a very good cook. hehe. I need to make sure it's done by 4:30 as I have somewhere to be at 5:15 and I'm not sure what time to put it in.

I don't eat meatloaf, but it smelled good! I used 2 lbs of beef and it took almost 2 hours at 350. I'd allow 1 1/2 hours. It's better if it sits for 15 minutes after you take it out of the oven. Lara in Colo
What kind of meat? I make my meat loaf with turkey and beef. The turkey I cook to 180 degrees and the beef to 155 degrees.Cooking times can be differ with ovens and altitude. If you aren't an experienced cook, go and get a thermometer. They aren't very expensive and are very convenient. They are made to stick in the meat, set the temp desired and beep when at temp. Never guess again!! (or overcook) http://www.bbqequipmentstore.com/PROGRAMMABLE-MEAT-THERMOMETER-WITH-TRANSMITTER-AND-RECEIVER-ET-71Os.htm For tonight, 350, one hour.
