happyWImom
We made some today-for the first time! :D Some of the recipes I've looked at say to refridgerate it, and others just say to put it in an airtight container. We're got it in some large ziplock freezer bags. What do you think?
plain jane
I used Martha's recipe for kool aid play-doh and kept it in zip lock bags successfully for about 2-3 weeks, after squeezing out all the air after each use. We forgot about one bag and I found it 6 weeks, maybe 2 months later and it was a (not) very cool science experiment. :ack2::ack2:
Dawn in OH
I've got a batch of home made play dough that's about a year old and still perfectly good. It's in a Rubbermaid container on the craft shelf. If the recipe called for salt, that should retard mold growth.
Chris in VA
Just a small tip-- Make sure your kids wash their hands before they use playdough. Cuts down on the growth of germs (and the salt helps, of course).
