Hoggirl
Would you suggest the audios or the DVDs? Yes, I am still collecting Iliad and Odyssey resources! :D
Rebecca VA
Audio, definitely! I loved listening to Dr. Vandiver in the car and have lots of memories of just where I was driving when I heard each part of the Iliad. Then I checked out a DVD copy of her lectures on the Odyssey. It was so hard to sit and watch her lecture! I wanted to get up and do things, but I was afraid that if I started moving around I would miss some important points. She doesn't show enough visuals to make a DVD presentation worthwhile, IMO.
Melissa B
I've never seen the DVDs, but the CDs are great.
Sunshine State Sue
Our library only had the DVD. I really enjoyed it. I have recently listened to other TC lectures in the car b/c the library only had audio. I find that I don't pay attention as well... Obviously, YMMV. In The Great White North
I listened to audio while walking the dog (and dc will listen to it in the car) and didn't feel I was missing anything. (She never refers to something she is pointing at, for example.) If we only had DVD, we would never get around to watching it.
