Pamela H in Texas
Okay, I can't figure this out. At first, I thought, "well, maybe they REALLY don't have a place where you wash your car by hand here." That sounded ridiculous, but I haven't seen one and I can't google one. So I tried to google one back home where I know where four or five are. But I can't find THEM on google. So now I know I'm just googling the wrong thing. So what I want is a "stall" where I can pull in, wash my car, probably use a soft brush on it, and have any number of choices (tire wash, wax, spot free rinse, etc). I want to do it myself, not drive through or have someone else do it. What on earth do I google to find this? (btw, if anyone wants to help, we're in Bon Air, VA; but I'm really interested in the terms to do it myself because nothing I'm coming up with is right). Renee in NC
Places like that are not likely to have an internet presence, are they? I would just ask around. I'd also call the city building office - they may not allow them and that is why you may not be able to find them.
Pamela H in Texas
well, I figured they'd be on maps.google.com because I thought EVERYTHING was available on the maps. However, maybe not. Hmmmm. Yeah, I'll have ask; however, I need my car done this morning which means I guess I'm gonna pay for it at the "auto spa." Blech. OrganicAnn
I would go on dogpile.com and use the yellow page option. Start with just car washes and see what categories of car washes there are. Or if you have an actual local yellow pages.
Alyce
I just did that for where I live and found a couple. Some of them were obviously not what I was looking for like detail shops but they all had phone numbers where I could call and get info. Jan in SC
Car Pool car wash operates both exterior only and full service. I just googled car wash Bon Air, VA. I'm assuming that is close to Richmond.(?)
Sparkle
Try self car wash or coin-operated car wash (?)
