kwg
We have a new one :D and he is so cute. He was going in the litter box where he was. We picked him last night and he has not gone . I can't find any pee in the house. Any ideas on what I should do?
MomLovesClassics
I have no advice. I do know that some cats can be shy and don't like to go when they know someone is watching. Some will not go if someone is in the same room.
claire up north
Keep the kitty in the same room with the litter box for a day or two. Occasionally pick him up and put him in the litter box. He'll figure it out.:)
Carrie12345
Yes to confined spaces! We actually crated our kittens for a little while because (1) we didn't know how the dogs would react to them and (2) they kept crawling under the oven! We had a small litter pan in there, then kept the same one until they got used to its new location. We switched to a larger one (and an additional one) after that. You also may want to ask their original owner what litter they were using. Cats are certainly known for being finicky!

MorganClassicalPrep
Keep him in confined places to make sure he isn't going anywhere else, but often animals won't eat, drink, or go potty for the first couple hours in a new place, so that could be it also.
