Beth in SW WA
Startwrite is loaded and I'm ready to make my copywork for next year. Is there a list of websites of age/grade-appropriate copywork? I plan to do a lot of cut & paste (since I'm lazy:001_smile:) as well as enter passages from our history, lit & science. Thank you in advance! Nestof3
I really like this copywork from Aesop's Fables. http://www.lulu.com/product/ebook/copywork---aesops-fables/487356
susankenny
You can join this yahoo group from Ambleside for free copywork ideas :) http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AOCopywork/ If you look in the files section, you'll see the AO list broken up by year. I also like the Elson Readers, which are free at google books (primer - 8th). They're also very good. Additionally, any of the recommended books from AO are good & most can be found at mainlesson.com or google books. Susan
SilverMoon
When I'm short on copywork I head over to the poetry sections on Ambleside Online. Choose which year you want, then scroll down until you find the poetry section.
Beth in SW WA
Thank you!! I joined the AO group. Any other suggestions? I'm so excited about this SW program. I love Modern Cursive. I'm also typing in all the words from our SWR Wise Guide lists for our daily spelling copywork. The built-in SW penmanship lessons look perfect. No problems w/ SW on my Mac (as was discussed in an earlier thread). TIA! :)
Beth in SW WA
bump :) Any other suggestions? Krazzymommy reminded me about Living Memory. How could I forget Drew's book??? I only wish it was digital so I could cut & paste. Thanks!
blessed2fosteradopt
I use Dictation Day by Day from google books. I would post a link if I could figure it out. You can search for it on google books. I am using fourth year but have found it as early as second year. Have fun!!
