Frozen meat in the crock pot?

I'm cooking a pork roast in the crock pot, but it isn't completely thawed. How do I adjust the cooking time? My settings are warm, low, and high.

I'm by no means an expert, but I always start with frozen meat, on high and let it cook all day. Speaking of....

I do the same thing with my frozen meat, stick it in the crock pot all day on high.

 

And add me to the crock pot list...chicken today!

I just throw the frozen meat in with the recipe and follow the recipe. The meat is always cooked in the allotted time.

I remember my cp instruction book specifically stating not to put in frozen meat, but.... I've done it for years! Never gotten sick.

 

ETA I use the low setting.

Just wanted to say thanks for reminding me to put our dinner in the crock pot. :)

 

And yes, sometimes the meat is frozen; I try to defrost it in the microwave while prepping the veggies, then I just stick it all in there. Low if there's time, high if not. It always turns out fine for me.

I've put every kind of meat in the crockpot frozen and it works fine. It works best if the meat is in some sort of liquid or sauce.
