cdrumm4448
Last week I gave ds off of school (spring break) because I was getting ready for the communion/birthday party we held Saturday. Yesterday no one could get the gumption to do school. Today, we went to a CC playdate, and now the kids are running through the sprinkler. I would love to spend the day reading my new homeschooling magazine that came in the mail and doing laundry until it's time to leave at 4:15. The kids could run through the sprinkler, play in the sandbox, look for bugs and sticks. What happened to my motivation to do school? I think it's the weather. I wish it would rain. Pink Fairy
Something is wrong with me too. I have zero motivation for school, and while the kids are working I am surfing the net. :tongue_smilie:
4kiddies
My motivation is definately low. We have been spending as much time as possible outside and I have been cooking only the absolute minimum to keep us alive...:) I love weather like this! Sasharowan
I took this week off as well even though we are off next week too so we can go camp with grandma. My house needed more attention than academics did.
Chris in VA
Me, too--we started a new math book last week, have been reading aloud, and did a tiny bit of history. That's been it for the last, oh, week and a half? Summer's a-coming.
