HappyGrace
Agh-I am trying to get some new stuff on my mp3 and I can't think of anything! I need a very upbeat beat to get motivated to train for my upcoming 5k! Thanks!
Hikin' Mama
to work out to Joe Satriani. I work out 4-5 times per week, and almost always listen to him. I also like Brad Gillis. They are both guitarists without many vocals, which I like.
LG Gone Wild
is Jeannie by Falco (Rock Me Amadeus). Even though it is in German, I find it a moving song.
PollyOR
This is more a warm up/cool down song, but I still love the beat..."Pobre Diabla" by Don Omar (can't vouch for the lyrics). Another favorite "My Fair Lady" by David Byrne. Gosh, all of the things I like sound slow, but I do listen to them while I exercise. "Clocks" by Coldplay. lulubelle
Jars of Clay - Jars of Clay. About 40 minutes. Great beats, inspirational, and a few slow. I start all my runs with it. Maeve - Any album. A little bit slower, but inspirational for running and soul. Always finish with it.
Sophia
I went on itunes and did a search for workout music and found two albums with 80's music that are perfect. I would never have remembered those songs on my own, and they transition them from one song to the next so there isn't any slow time. The right music makes such a difference in keeping up my energy! Wheres Toto
My current favorite workout songs - some are warm up/cool down, others much peppier with a beat. It's kind of a wierd mix and I left off some of the worst of the current pop songs. If Today Was Your Last Day (wu/cd) Under the Bridge (wu/cd) Second Chance (wu/cd) Hate My Life Voulez Vouz Pon de Replay Ain't no other man Burn it to the ground Cherry Pie Gimme Gimme Gimme Hakuna Matata Here I Go Again Invincible Hell is for Children Joy to the World (3 dog night) Let's Get Loud Witch Doctor Walk the Dinosaur Trashin the Camp Sweet Home Alabama
