If you do, then you probably will not like Hakim to put it mildly. Do you think American history is a complex mix of people and events? If you do, then you could probably use and enjoy it as part of a well-rounded history program. Maybe take a look at how Sonlight incorporates it into their material. They're very helpful in pointing out some of the ways Christianity (and religion in general) are portrayed in the book(s).
